God made us special and beautiful. We can either maintain or destroy this gift by the choices we make. Our choices can be our eating habits, our lifestyle or our thought process.
The Bible declares,” I praise You because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; Your works are wonderful, I know that full well.”(Psalm 138:14) We should try to take care of our inner beauty because it reflects the illumination of our heart. It brightens our eyes and radiates our personal aura. It allows us to vibrate at a different frequency sending positive energy fields to those around us. Randi G. Fine sees outer beauty as a gift and inner beauty as an accomplishment.
We endeavour to show love to those around us but how many of us truly love ourselves?
We take care of those whom we love but do we take care of ourselves? Action speaks louder than words.
When we do things to hurt others, we apologize to them and make amends, but how many of us do “damage control” when we do things to hurt our bodies? Sometimes we don’t even realize we are hurting our bodies and the hurt keeps piling up. eg over-indulgence in ….. you name it. Can we for a moment, look at the causes and effects of our own over-indulgence? Now, look at the consequences and If they are negative, can we stop hurting our health, our beauty and our spirituality?
Stop! Take one more look in the mirror and love the person who looks back at you! Let your beauty radiate from the inside. Let your dress code speak for you.
