The Power of Love

Love is one of thecharacteristics or attributes of the fruits of the spirit and can be manifested in different ways. Love can easily be identified by its characteristics. The scripture in 1 Corinthians 13:1-8 tells us that love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs.
Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with truth. I always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always preserves. Love never fails.

People have written many songs, poems, stories, plays and movies about love but genuine love can only be expressed in its natural form or a in a real-life situation. Love does not originate with us. It comes from God because God is love. We can only give love to others if we truly love God. His love is unconditional. He doesn’t withdraw it from us when we don’t deserve it and He expects us to express the same sentiments to others.
