Each morning we wake up hoping to accomplish each task on our itenery. We are usually optimistic that our day will end in a positive way. However, so many times unavoidable circumstance ruin our day leaving us devastated. The human tendency is to panic but this does not help the situation. Instead, it causes us to lose our ability to think rationally, resulting in stress or anxiety. The scripture reminds us in Philipian 4: 6-7 (NLT),
“Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank Him for all He has done. Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus”
We can activate our faith in God by tapping into His presence. We should approach Him in worship and Thanksgiving, worshipping Him for who He is and praising Him for what He has done. We can’t worship and worry at the same time. When we ask for His intervention, we need to believe that we will receive that which we ask for. We can even claim it in the name of Jesus Christ and thank Him for supplying those needs before receiving them. Soon we’ll be jumping over our problems like an athlete jumping over hurdles.
